Winter gardening in Kyneton (the town of Daffodils)

Kyneton gardens maintained by Boodle Concepts

Did you know we've been designing & landscaping gardens in Kyneton since 2013?

After a quick fix to add a pop of welcomed colour to your Winter garden? Try adding Daffodils and Jonquils. Chilly days landscaping outside are warmed with the smell of neighbouring wood burning fires, sunny days, and of course a hot coffee from Monsieur Pierre, or Duck Duck Goose Larder in Kyneton's famous Piper Street!

Get the look by clustering your bulbs in pots, or in the garden. Daffodils and Jonquils make for excellent cut flowers. Plant your bulbs 15cm deep (pointy end upwards). Planting bulbs in Autumn means you can use the excess of fallen leaves as mulch for weed control. This also retains the soil's moisture.
