In Victoria, Blackwood wattle flowers in August - October. 3-5 raised main veins with numerous secondary veins.
Acacia implexa is similar but has a whitish funicle (fleshy structure around the seed), implexa leaves are more sickle-shaped and flowers later (Summertime).
